The Boart Safety Scheme have commissioned a nationwide survey on Lithium-ion batteries (LiBs).
To further guide our safety messaging around LiBs, we are looking to gather responses from across the boating community around their current and future use of this power source on board, as well as the current knowledge of – and attitudes towards – the associated risks.
They would welcome your help in distributing this to your members and constituents to encourage participation, so that we can use the information provided to deliver further education and guidance around LiBs and enhance safety on the water.
The survey is independent and anonymous, and will run until 31 December. It should take around 15 minutes to complete, and participants will have the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win one of 10 £50 shopping vouchers.
