Canal & River Trust has published the results with overall satisfaction at 50%, down from 55% in 2025 but remaining above the 2024 low point of 46%. Stoppages emerged as the dominant factor affecting experience on the waterways, with 58% of boaters saying stoppages negatively influenced their satisfaction, a significant increase compared with 15% in 2025.
