Visitors to the waterways are being asked to pick up one piece of litter to prevent the half-million plus pieces of plastic entering the sea from UK canals each year.

New Waterways Ombudsman Appointed
The Waterways Ombudsman Committee has announced the appointment of the new Waterways Ombudsman. The new Ombudsman will be Sarah Daniel. Sarah, who is an experienced ombudsman and civil servant, was appointed by the Committee following an open competition.
