British Waterways took proceedings against Paul Davies as far back as March 2009. This subsequently became one of their test cases to try to clarify their legal powers,
particularly as far as they relate to boaters not having a home mooring and their "Mooring Guidance for Continuous Cruisers".
The case went to court in September 2010 and through the Freedom of Information website whatdotheyknow.com, NABO member Allan Richards has finally obtained release of the relevant papers. They will be on BW's website, but in the meantime you can download the pdf files here:
