2013 NABO AGM
The AGM for NABO will take place on Saturday 16th November 2013 at Wolverhampton Boat Club, Barnhurst Lane, Bilbrook, Wolverhampton, WV8 1RS Pendeford Lane, Wolverhampton, WV10 0PG on the southern end of the Shropshire Union.
Recent Court judgement on Council Tax
A recent judgement in the High Court of Appeal may have implications for boaters living on a boat at a fixed spot on the canal system whether at an official mooring or not and irrespective of whether the mooring is classed as residential. Stoppage on Leeds & Liverpool Canal
On 9th May 2011, British Waterways announced a closure of Lock 77 on the Wigan Flight of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal until further notice.
You can affect BW’s winter stoppage programme
The first draft of the proposed 2011/2012 Winter Stoppages programme is now live at www.waterscape.com/winterstoppages and British Waterways is welcoming feedback via the website until Friday 3 June 2011. All comments will be taken into consideration and a revised programme will then be published in July, with the final programme following in early September
