Advice: Harecastle Tunnel – Advice

After a recent review of the procedures at Harecastle tunnel with Staffordshire Fire and Rescue, BW will have smoke alarms available for issue, FREE OF CHARGE, to craft which do not have them fitted.

This is a limited resource and we would ask that you do not take one if you already have one fitted.
We will also look to provide appropriate fire extinguishers to the small minority who may not have them available, as a temporary measure for the duration of the tunnel passage, until the owner can replenish their own stock.
The extinguishers will need to be returned when exiting the tunnel.
