NABO back at Crick

NABO announced recently that it will be represented at the Crick Boat Show and Waterways Festival from 29th to 31st May.

Its the first time for three years that NABO will have a stand.

Chairman, David Fletcher said," We feel it’s important, with all the issues facing the Waterways, that we meet as many of our members and boaters as we can. We have been reviewing everything we do at NABO in the recent months and actually talking face to face will, we hope, ensure we will be clear about not just our members views but those of the boating community as a whole."

New display materials have been developed for the show and these will also be available at a series of planned events across the boating season this year.

At Crick we will hopefully have a good presence of Council Members ( including the Chairman for the whole Show) so its a chance to put actual people to names in NABO News! We will also be running our new web site ( subject to Internet signal!).

Richard Carpenter said,"We may be able to recruit some new members of course, but meeting old friends and ensuring we represent all boat owners properly is very important. So pop onto the stand which is in the Kingfisher Marquee, number 34."
