CRT are holding an open day on Sunday 17 February at Dowley Gap Locks and Aqueduct. The date has been changed from 27th January

You can walk along a drained 50 metre section of aqueduct and the double rise locks and ask questions to experts about how this skilled work takes place to protect your waterways.

Dowley Gap is on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
No booking required – last entry strictly 3.15pm (site closes at 3:45pm). Please wear sensible sturdy footwear or wellies. No pets allowed.
