New Boater Liaison Group on the Mon & Brec
The first meeting of this group was held on the 12th July 2017 at Llangattock. This innovative development was the brainchild of the CRT Waterways Manager Nick Worthington and greatly welcomed by all boaters on the canal.

Avoid Market Drayton in mid-August 500 anglers are expected to line a 15-mile stretch of the Shropshire Union towpath at Market Drayton on Saturday 19th August for the Angling Trust Division One National Championship. This shows that licence evasion on its waterways has reduced by 0.7% overall in the past year to 3.7%, with 96.3% of boats holding up-to-date licences.
