Peel Holdings have issued the opening times for the Barton Swing Aqueduct for 2011 as well as the usual the maintenance which falls a little later than BW! The dates are

OPERATING TIMES 2011
Barton Aqueduct is open to navigation on the Bridgewater Canal subject to shipping on the Manchester Ship Canal between the following times.
Winter Hours (note annual maintenance closure dates and times)
1st January 2011 to 31st March 2011 incl 9.15 am to 4.30 pm
1st October 2011 to 31st December 2011 incl 9.15 am to 4.30 pm
Summer Hours (note annual maintenance closure dates and times)
1st April 2011 to 30th September 2011 from 9.15 am to 9.00 pm
