CRT Trustees have today issued a further update on activities in setting up the new organisation.
The headline is that the launch date is still not confirmed, and that a planned event on 28 June has been canceled. The focus is now on 12 July as a provisional date for regional launch events.
There is reference to a KPMG report on funding that was carried out in 2011 to support the costing for the ongoing operational actives.
There is reference to the CRT Council activities and a plan for an Annual public meeting on 27 September.
There is reference to the tail bridges on the Staffs and Worcester Canal and the addition of handrails, a item that has been subject of a formal complaint to BW by NABO.
You can read the update here. Access to the KPMG report is within this document.
Members can expect further comments in the next NABO News, due out in July.
