British Transport Commission Gloucester & Sharpness Canal & River Severn Byelaws 1962 (with amendments)

British Waterways General Canal Byelaws 1965 – cover all waterways except G&S and River Severn

British Waterways Byelaws 1966 – amend General Canal Byelaws and apply them to the Lee & Stort Navigation

British Waterways Byelaws 1972 – amend General Canal Byelaws and byelaws for the regulation of the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal and River Severn Navigation and prohibit water-skiing and increase penalties for breaches of other byelaws

British Waterways Byelaws 1975 – apply to all BW canals and inland navigations – require display of licences (but not river registration certificates!)

British Waterways Byelaws 1976 – apply to all BW canals and inland navigations – revoke the 1975 byelaws and require licensing and display of licences (but not applicable to river waterways) and increase penalties for breaches of other byelaws.
