2013 NABO AGM

Usual business to start at 10.45 – tea and coffee available from 10.15.

After formalities we generally enjoy open discussion on Association issues and Boating issues in general.

Following a buffet lunch our guest speaker will be Adam Comerford, Group Hydrology manager at the C&RT who will provide an illustrated talk about his role, the problems he faces and the solitions at his disposal. (Its very interesting and informative – we know cos we have heard Adam already!).

Members and non members are welcome to join us – as well as those who are thinking of joining us. There is no charge ( altough we do ask for a donation of what you can afford to pay for the buffett). Just let us know if you plan to come.

The latest issue of NABO News should be on line and in the post any day now and this includes the nomination forms for prospective Council Members. We are really keen to see some new blood taking on roles – getting involved as much or as little as can be spared in terms of time and commitment. Attending the AGM might just be a way of seeing how we run.

If you are able to let the HOn Sec know if you are planning to come it helps with seating and catering!

The Boat Club have generously offered free moorings (click on link) for a few days around the date if you plan to come by water – again let us know.
